What Shiryl Does Day to Day
Shiryl’s role sits across two interconnected functions — keeping the clinic running smoothly and ensuring Hito reaches the patients who need it most. On the operations side, she oversees the daily diary, appointment types, patient invoicing, payment follow-ups, and form completion — making sure every patient arrives prepared and every session can begin without friction. She handles company email communications, supporting both existing patients and new enquiries from first contact through to booking. On the marketing side, she lead Hito’s content strategy across social media and email — writing, designing, and scheduling posts, building and launching newsletters, and implementing lead generation initiatives that bring the right patients to the clinic.

Background Before Hito
My background spans healthcare, education, and operations — from preparing nursing and midwifery graduates for licensure examinations in the Philippines, to operations and sales in Singapore’s education industry, to Degree Programme Manager at INSEAD Business School. I bring all of that to Hito every day.

The last course you attended and how you put it into practice
I’ve been immersing myself in reading and listening to podcasts about conscious parenting. I have applied these insights and strategies to the most challenging and rewarding role I’ve taken on: motherhood.
What are your next professional and personal goals
Honestly — this is always the hardest question for me. I live in the moment and I have found that the best things come from staying open rather than following a rigid plan. I trust the process and say yes to the right opportunities when they arrive.
What is your best professional achievement
Every stage and phase of my professional life is worth celebrating — because without every first small step, I would not be standing where I am today.
What is your best personal life achievement
Raising two beautiful children and nurturing the relationships that matter most to me. I have reached a place of genuine contentment — where external noise no longer moves me. I do not desire more. I desire enough. And knowing the difference, I think, is its own kind of achievement.
Your best advices
Unless it is a matter of life and death — you will be alright. Most things that feel urgent rarely are. Breathe. Give it time. You will find your way through.
What's your dream
For all people to heal — emotionally and physically. Because when we release what we carry, our bodies follow. Healed people have nothing left to give but love — and a world built from that has no room for hurt people hurting others.
Hobbies
Yoga, the sea, and the mountains — that is where I reset. And time with my family is where I come home to myself. That balance is everything.

Grilled meat and seafood.
Holiday destination
The sea, the mountains, and somewhere still wild. The Dolomites stole my heart recently — but Bora Bora is still calling. One day.
