Sound Healing

Sound healing is an ancient practice that uses sound vibrations to promote relaxation, balance, and healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. The sound vibration generates a resonance in the water which is 70% of the body mass. Incredibly, this percentage arise to 99% if we consider not the molecular weight but the number of molecules in our body. A sound bath generates through vibrations, a sort of micro-massage of our inner water (see cymatics waves), softening the muscles, the connective tissue and the organs, wherever there is any tightness.  However, it is in this tightness that often are hidden our past traumas, certain illnesses and our negative thoughts or emotions. That’s why the power of sound healing goes beyond the physical level.

On the energy level, each living being correspond to a certain general frequency or pitch, as well as the internal organs so the vibrations generate an entrainment (the tendency for one entity to resonate synchronously with another in response to a dominant frequency of vibration) which can retune the body and organs into a healthy state.

Similarly, considering each chakra or energy centre has a specific frequency or note, then sound healing provides healing also at this level as well on the 7 layers of our energy bubble (aura).

Finally, sound healing tends to modify the brain waves moving the listeners towards an alpha-theta status or deep meditative state, pre-sleep, sleep, etc, practically activating the parasympathetic hormonal pattern which corresponds to sleep, rest, heal and recover against stress, anxiety and daily unhealthy fight or fly status. Various studies demonstrated how only 10 minutes sound bath can positively affect the brain waves, increase the blood flow and fluidity.

Alessio is a sound healer and Gong Master and with instruments such as Gongs, Himalayan bowls, chimes, crystal bowls, voice, etc. creates a therapeutic environment that supports sleep, pain reduction, deep relaxation, stress relief, and inner harmony. He also combines sounds with acupuncture and energy healing for a special, intense, personalised experience.
