Fertility/Urinary Issues
Conditions
Fertility/Urinary Issues
Fertility issues refer to difficulties in achieving pregnancy, while urinary issues include problems such as incontinence, frequent urination, and urinary tract infections (UTIs). These can be caused by hormonal imbalances, infections, or anatomical problems.
Standard Medical Approach:
- Diagnosis: Physical exams, blood tests, imaging, hormone testing, and sometimes invasive procedures.
- Treatment: Medications, hormone therapy, surgeries, and assisted reproductive technologies.
Hito Holistic Approach
- Diagnosis: Detailed assessment of visceral entrapments, posture, diet, lifestyle, stress, and energetical or emotional health.
- Treatment: Depending on the symptoms and condition we can use a different approach. However, it is very important to make a visceral assessment to understand if there are specific organs restriction. Then with the visceral induction therapy we can release the single organs or related ligaments holding the organs in place until the abdomen would be fully relaxed and symptoms should start fading or reproductive system parameters should start improving. Plus, from the palpation we can understand which meridians are involved (usually stomach, conception, kidney, spleen, liver). In ayurvedic medicine most of these conditions are related to the Sacral Chakra (past traumas, sexuality, creativity, feeling, etc.) or the base chakra (family, root, survival mode, security, stability, etc) although often also the Solar Plexus (low self-esteem, judgemental environment, conflicts, etc.) is involved. So, it is important to rebalance them singularly and together, and in association with the Spleen (organ and meridian) or with the heart, brown and crown chakra. Dietary advises and hydration are also important as well as mindful practices such meditation and sound bath to relax the mind, journaling to process trauma and let go, breath work to release the diaphragm and grounding to reconnect with the own roots and family origin. Acupuncture and pelvic floor exercises are often part of the healing process. Pelvic floor exercises like the Kegels can increase reproductive and urinary organs blood flow and strength, reduce incontinence, increase erection and ejaculation, improve sexual pleasure and intimate connection.
