Sport injuries

Sports injuries are injuries that occur during athletic activities. Common types include sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, and overuse injuries. Proper treatment and rehabilitation are essential for recovery and return to activity.

Standard Medical Approach:

  • Diagnosis: Physical exams, imaging tests like X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans.
  • Treatment: Pain relievers, anti-inflammatories, physiotherapy, bracing, and sometimes surgery.

Hito Holistic Approach

  • Diagnosis: Comprehensive assessment including physical, orthopaedical, neurological, energetical, emotional, and lifestyle factors.
  • Treatment: we provider all the standard orthopaedic techniques including mobilisation, manipulation, strapping, taping, exercises. Moreover, we combine it with some extra techniques to address the root cause rather than just the symptoms or the injury. This can include, acupuncture, deep tissue or soft tissue clinical massage therapy, chakra rebalancing, and mindful strategies like breathwork, meditation and journaling or sound bath meditation. For example, ankle sprains are often related to the bladder and kidney meridians and the throat chakra. The knee injuries to the solar plexus and the stomach and/or spleen meridians. The hip injuries are connected to the root chakra and again the stomach or the gallbladder meridians. Shoulder injuries are related to the throat chakra, the lung and large intestine meridians and so on.
