Stress Induced Conditions
Stress-induced conditions are health issues triggered or exacerbated by stress, including headaches, high blood pressure, digestive problems, and chronic pain. Managing stress through holistic therapies can help alleviate these conditions.
Standard Medical Approach:
- Diagnosis: Physical exams, medical history, and sometimes psychological evaluations to determine the impact of stress.
- Treatment: Medications (e.g., beta-blockers for high blood pressure, antidepressants), lifestyle changes (diet and exercise), and stress management techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).
Hito Holistic Approach
- Diagnosis: Detailed assessment of physical, emotional, energetical and lifestyle factors.
- Treatment: Stress is due to a long exposure to a fight or flight (FoF) status with production of adrenaline and cortisol for many hours per day. Often relates to intense working hours, demanding jobs or employers or family conflicts. Most of our manual therapy is based on techniques able to bring you back into the parasympathetic status and switch off the FoF. The calm environment of our clinic, the right atmosphere with calming music and incense help to promote that. Moreover, Acupuncture and acupressure, meditation and mindfulness practices also promote the parasympathetic status. In particular, the sound healing or sound bath meditation, can even change the brain waves from active, aware (Gamma waves) and alert (Beta waves) to relaxing (Alpha/Theta waves) or into deep sleep (Delta waves). More help can arrive from focusing on multiple chakras, particularly the root chakra (Muladhara) for grounding, the heart chakra (Anahata) for emotional balance, and the third eye chakra (Ajna) for mental clarity.
